Breaking out of the house

Sydney was excited to get out of the house today. We went to the park to run off some energy.

Love the fun house mirror. She played peak a boo with it.

You have to keep your eye on this one. She will climb up the ladder at home up into the playhouse ALL by herself. Today she decided to do the rocks. Na was there to make sure we did not loose our footing.

Hi there!
No pictures of her going down the slides because she loved the big kid slides. So mom was freaked out making sure we made it down safely. Of course she did and laughed the entire way down every time.

Hand, Foot, and Mouth FUN!

This past week we had to find different activities inside because Sydney caught Hand, Foot, Mouth. Apparently it was the first of the season according to the pediatrician.

Finger painting was a blast.
We got a little on our body, but that made it that much more fun.

Foot painting also!

We also busted out the bubbles.

Ace loved the bubbles also. He would eat them and make Sydney laugh really hard.

First Haircut

On Thursday Sydney had her first haircut. She did great. She was fascinated by it all.
Here is the before picture of Sydney's mullet.

Here we are saying good bye to it.

Sunday Fun

Since it was such a warm weekend we decided to break out the pool.

Sydney was not for sure about the crab at first. So mommy had to hop in first and then she warmed up to it.

This crab is not so scary, it is actually FUN!

Daddy showing Sydney how to blow bubbles in the water.

Our neighbors were sweet and dropped off a car for Sydney today. She has reverse down pat, going forward we will have to work on. But not too shabby for our first time.

Friends in town

We had some friends, Nechol and Jeff, who came to Dauphin Island this weekend and they were sweet to invite us out to their house on the beach.
Jackson and Sydney hit it off and had a lot of fun playing.

It was a beautiful day. It was the warmest so far this year.

It was so warm we were wishing someone had their swimsuit, but this was close of enough. No not warm enough to go into the actual ocean(it is still 66 degrees and purple flags were flying for jellyfish), but there was a big puddle that had formed from the high tide and was warm. We had a blast playing in that!

Morning Routine

Every day Sydney has to eat Cheerios with her dad. She watches him very impatiently while he makes his bowl. He always adds bananas or strawberries as an added bonus!

Seafood Eater!

I don't have any pictures of this past weekend, but Sydney enjoyed both crawfish and oysters. Her father was so excited that she liked them. There is hope that she will like seafood unlike her mother!

Visit from G and Grandpa

We enjoyed several days with G and Grandpa last week.

Chilling in my sunglasses!

She went to the park with the grandparents while mom and dad were at work and tried everything out! LOVED IT!

Coloring with G. Thank goodness for washable markers.

Kindermusik class. Drums have to be everyones favorite.

Relaxing in Shaf's old chair.

Na and Pop's Camera

Sydney loves her new jack and the box from Ben and Audrey. It makes her laugh every time.

Sydney's favorite thing to do when she is done eating is to stick her fingers under her highchair tray and say OUCH!

Do I have something in my teeth?
Being a big girl on pop's lap.

It seems while we were gone on vacation, Na and Pop had their hands full with Sydney crawling in the kennel with Abby.... and

Getting up on top of the shed. (That is no playhouse folks, wow that is high!)

Now that is a face that will make anyone laugh!

Beach Fun!

We had fun again this weekend at the beach...Sydney loves to run the ball back and forth between people and bonus it burns off some energy.

What is it? A bird? A plane? No it is.......

Barbie!!!!! Sydney did not really want to hold the kite, but she got a kick out of watching it fly.

I am cute!
The water was COLD, but we did a little walking in the puddles that had warmed up a little.
One, two, THREEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! WEEEEEEEE!

We could not keep Sydney out of the sand. She had so much fun running, playing, and digging in it.

Happy Easter!!!!

We had a beautiful weekend. Na and Pop came to visit. We went to the beach again and had a wonderful Easter! I only have time to post a couple of pics from the weekend, but I will post more later.

Everyone looking good in Pink!

Too cute!

The Easter Bunny brought Sydney lots of fun stuff! She was excited to check it all out!

Sydney caught the hang of hunting Easter eggs really quickly. She filled up her Easter basket in no time.
